About the Author

With over 20 years of experience as a business owner and community leader, Kathleen has come to realize that most individuals, businesses, and families need some help organizing their time, space or information. In 2004, while serving as Vice President of Cowley International, Inc., a global consulting firm, she decided to break into the professional organizing industry and launched KC Streamline Concepts in order to help individuals and businesses create productive and less stressful working and living environments. After seeing the need for more efficient organizing systems, in 2008, she designed, developed, and launched the Alpha-Omega Collection®.

Kathleen enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, Kaden, Cameron, and Isla watching how they love to learn through play. One day while watching Cameron collect bugs outside, the idea of writing a read aloud book to teach children the concept of organizing became her next project. ‘Cameron’s Organized Day’ release date is in January 2015.

Kathleen holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Shenandoah University. She is a speaker, is an active member of the National Association for Professional Organizers (NAPO), Every Woman Can Be…, eWomen Network, and Women's ToolBox.  When she’s not organizing, networking, speaking, or dreaming up a new product, Kathleen enjoys entertaining and spending time with her husband of 37 years and family at their home on Lake Norman.
